The Carrington Boat Ramp project for Transport for NSW [TfNSW] was completed in February 2021 with Walcon designing, fabrication and installing the 35m ramp floating pontoon structure.

The client chose Walcon’s FRP micro mesh decking in grey and also had solar powered lighting installed along the pontoon. The facility is with tie off cleats every two meters for easy mooring with the vessels being protected with 90mm non-marking D Fender to all outside surfaces.

The system is designed in 5 individual modules of varying lengths for easy access during varying tidal ranges with the system designed to rest on the boat ramp during low tide.
