Walcon Marine Australia has just completed the supply and delivery of a new heavy-duty aluminium pontoon system for the Bunbury Pilot Jetty in Western Australia.

The project provides another strong example of the capability of Walcon Marine in the Australian market — bringing together local project experience, engineering and site support with specialist quality manufacturing capability.

The new jetty incorporates Walcon Marine’s heavy-duty aluminium pontoon system, together with an articulated access gangway and pile-guided restraint system. The pontoons were engineered and fabricated by before being shipped to Western Australia for final assembly and installation at Bunbury.

Walcon Marine Australia provided the local interface for the project, including site coordination, survey and installation support, working closely with the teams engineering and production teams throughout delivery.

While relatively modest in scale, the Bunbury project is significant as another locally delivered Australian project demonstrating the strength of the Walcons presence in the market.

Walcon Marine continues to provide clients with a complete marina infrastructure capability — from initial concept, site assessment and engineering through to manufacture, logistics, installation and ongoing support.
